Eaves Devices specializes in the creation of innovative energy storage and power conversion solutions that seamlessly integrate power transmission, battery charging, management and reporting. As our products reach the manufacturing stage they are typically "spun-out" as individual companies as is detailed in our About Us page. We are also a developer of custom products for outside clients; please contact us if you would like us to provide a proposal for your application.

Our current area of focus is on the development of a new technology that revolutionizes the way electrical power is controlled and distributed. The technology is referred to as Packet Energy Transfer or PET.

B2 Bomber Lithium-ion Battery Upgrade

Unique power conversion electronics allowed a drop-in replacement for the legacy Ni-Cad battery on board the aircraft. Eaves Devices provided battery management electronics, output regulation stage and data package.

Advanced Electric Ship Demonstrator (AESD)

Advanced Electric Ship Demonstrator (AESD)

130 foot long model of the DDG-51 Destroyer. Electric Propulsion system powered by 740, VRLA Monoblocks. Multiple 1.6kV strings provide power to a modular drive system. High density chargers, battery management system and central battery management computer. Voltage and temperature on all 740 battery monoblocks monitored and equalized by the integrated charging system.

Alpha Magnetic Spectrometer

To be installed on the International Space Station. Lithium-ion Radiation Tolerant Design, High Reliability Solid-State Relay Protection Switch. Battery management electronics and full data package.

Advanced Seal Delivery System (ASDS)

Combatant Submersible, More than 1000 large Li-ion cells. Eaves Devices provided battery management electronics and firmware for the fully networked system. System provided with interface capabilities to ship computer.

XSS-11 Satellite

8 Cells, Li-ion, Radiation Tolerant Design. Eaves Devices provided battery management electronics and a full data package.

BB-2590 Battery

BB-2590 Battery

Each battery contains two independent 12V sections using 18650 Li-ion cells. Designed, prototyped and tested these low power battery management electronics that monitor, equalize and protect the pack.
